We live in a time between worlds
You came to this work because you love people, and you love seeing them unfold. Now you’re bringing that love into a time between worlds. Familiar ways of working and living are changing, and new ones are still taking shape. Times like this are full of exciting possibilities, and they can also be unsettling.
The people who come to you feel both. Many have already turned to AI chatbots for help, and those always helpful answers don’t always help. A quick answer can even leave someone more anxious than before, because what they needed was someone to stay with them in what they don’t yet know. They need you.
Times like these call for care, attunement, and love. You know that love. It’s love for the person in front of you, for what is trying to unfold through their life and in your relationship with them, and for the worlds they are shaping for others. It’s what called you to this work, and it’s what calls you to keep growing in it.
The world you already stand in
You already know this world. You’ve sat with a client and seen someone already whole. You’ve watched a session change when the method fell away, and the two of you were simply there with whatever was arising, past the edge of what either of you knew.
In Aletheia, we call this world unfoldment. It begins with innate wholeness. Your work is to tend the conditions in which that wholeness can unfold, the way soil, water, and light let an acorn become an oak tree.
Breakdowns are openings
Breakdowns happen when what was working stops working. Trying to solve a breakdown as if it were a problem, at best, rebuilds a world that is already straining to hold what is shifting.
In this world, breakdowns are openings. When a client’s world breaks, you help them stand in the rupture as an aperture into the world that is newly emerging. People in breakdown are searching for practitioners with depth, breadth, and above all, Presence.
Presence is your ability to stand in this aperture.
What unfolds in you
Over time, practicing together shapes how you work and who you are as a practitioner.
Your presence becomes the method. Coaching becomes a way you are with your clients, and Aletheia becomes something you live.
You stand in unfoldment. Innate wholeness becomes the ground from which you meet your clients and yourself.
You trust what is emerging. You orient toward the wisdom of the moment and hold maps, techniques, and plans lightly.
Your range across the depths widens. You grow at home with Parts, Process, Presence & Absence, and subtle openings into the Nondual, without forcing depth or bypassing what’s here.
Your engagements become co-emergent collaborations. You learn to create the relational, ethical, and developmental conditions in which your clients’ unfoldment arises naturally.
You belong to a living lineage. The shared field of this community becomes part of your development.
A call to mastery
The depth you can go with a client is the depth you can go within yourself.
That’s why mastery in this work takes years and never stops deepening. In an engagement that stalls in month four, you learn exactly what you missed in the intake. When you’re triggered in a coaching conversation, you learn which Parts of yourself need more attention, love, and appreciation. Those lessons ripen faster when you bring them to people who can see what you can’t yet see.
You are called to become a skillful, and in time masterful, transformative practitioner.
A call to expand your sense-making network
In a time between worlds, it is very hard to make sense of what is shifting on your own. As William Gibson said, “The future is already here — it’s just not very evenly distributed.” Some practitioners are already meeting the breakdowns that the rest of us will meet next year.
You learn about new kinds of breakdown when a colleague who works with people in their twenties describes concerns you haven’t met yet. You learn how the market is evolving when practitioners compare notes on what clients are asking for, which engagements they say yes to, and where referrals are coming from. You learn how a shift travels across cultures when a practitioner on another continent describes the same breakdown arriving in a different form.
Each of us sees a small piece of what is emerging. Together, we see far more of it.
A call to the professional community
Every time you practice from wholeness, you help bring the Unfoldment Paradigm, long marginalized in our culture, back toward the center of the conversation. No one can do that alone.
On your own, it’s easy to drift back toward the inherited ways of seeking self-improvement. Among practitioners who share your stand and speak your language, you find your ground again.
Transforming culture requires community, a sangha. In times between worlds, we need each other, and it’s a joy to be together in this.
Your guides
I’ve been calling myself a coach since 2000, mentoring coaches since 2003, and teaching coach trainings since 2006. For just as long, I’ve practiced in Zen, Tibetan Buddhism, and the Diamond Approach. I founded Aletheia in 2013, and it has grown into a worldwide community of practitioners.

Sign up for a case consultation or bring your experiences and questions to share. Come to your next monthly case consultation with a client you’re carrying.
Join an upcoming live virtual workshop or watch recordings of past workshops at your own pace. Yearly workshops on key skillsets to refine your craft and current topics to deepen your sense-making.
Keep practicing together. Month by month, your presence, range, and ground keep deepening, alongside practitioners who share your stand.
What’s included
Monthly case consultations
Two hours each month, live with Steve March or an Aletheia faculty member and your fellow practitioners. Bring the client you’ve been carrying, the ethical question you’re holding, the “where do I go from here?” You’ll look at it together, from many sides, and everyone in the room learns from it. Each session is recorded and available for two months.
Creating Transformative Client Engagements
Live October 16–17, 2026, then available to members as a recording. Learn to shape engagements where real unfoldment can happen, across the whole arc of your work with a client, from first meeting and contracting through pacing and completion.
Building Your Transformation Business
Live December 4–6, 2026, then available to members as a recording. Learn to offer your work so the people it’s meant for can find you. Most practices grow by word of mouth, when clients who have been deeply met tell the people they care about. This training helps you build a practice that grows that way.
The Aletheia Library and Community Space
Recorded lectures and Q&As, added every year, and a peer space where members share insights, questions, and good company between calls. The Community Space is tended by members; bring your questions and cases for faculty to the monthly consultations.
Who this membership is for
Current participants and graduates of ACP Level 1 who are committed to building a professional practice, whether you’re taking on your first paying client or have been practicing for years.
If you’re currently in the ACP Level 1 Professional Coaching Path, your first year of membership is included.
Membership
$799 USD a year. This is a founding rate, and it stays yours for as long as your membership continues.
Membership renews annually, with a reminder 30 days before renewal. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your membership year. All sales are final.
